honestly at 5'6" you really need to get it down below 30 and closer to 29". Prolly require you to get he weight down to 165ish over time while building the strength.

I'm not sure I could get down to that, even when I weighed 110ish in high school I had a 29" waist. I have a pretty thick core. I was around 185 at the beginning of the year and my goal was to get down to 165. I've kind of stalled but I've been feeling pretty good so I haven't changed my eating. If I had to guess I'm right around 15% BF.

maybe and if so just means have to get little wider shoulders to make the V look more pronounced. but bet you could get damn close.

I kind of think those waist standards don’t make sense for a 40+ year old, but then again I don’t want to look like the kinobody guy.

My goal is basically Daniel Craig Bond at the beach:

At 6’0 198 with a 35.5 waist at navel, I don’t want to lose any weight, so I’m thinking I’ll try to get to 210 and then go back to well under 3k calories a day, trying to maintain strength and lose weight to get body fat to 15-ish% at 200.

I think I hurt something just reading this. No way I'm doing 88-105 lbs on DB shoulder press for reps. 45s, yeah, I can knock that out.

Lol Craig is 5’10 and weighed 180 at ~15% in that photo. So he isn’t that far off from the standards listed, essentially would need to get to around 172ish.

Even if you don’t get down to the waist standard and decide to keep little extra to look fuller, the standards are still pretty good overall for goals

Btw Daniel Craig is more than likely enhanced there. He gained close to 29 lbs of muscle reportedly for that film….yea that doesn’t happen while also leaning out past age of 35

That is really sad, only 45 on each hand?? Stop being addicted to cuckold porn and the security of your tranny husband and get to the gym. You will see gain if you stop your addiction and work out your body.

Right. 15% is about as low as I would want to go. Don’t want ripped abs.

Yeah I agree.

Mountain tactical publishes some standards as well, for different types of tactical professions/athletes.

Back in my day we set our own standards and they were unachievable but we reached them anyway. Didn't take our cues from airbrushed pretty boys.

i understand that, but most would be well served in meeting the standards listed. 99% of people would look much much better if they did meet those standards

even you HFP lol

I gotta get the waist down to meet these standards better. But that would require cutting back on the margs and beer so....nah.

33"ish waist at 5'7" 175 lb. 45.2" chest and big shoulders though, so it helps with the V.

Repped 100's on the DB shoulder press last week, 4 reps. Typically do 90's x 8.

I'd say I look pretty damn similar to Daniel Craig in that photo - probably a bit bigger. I'd be shocked if he's 15% body fat there, though.

I'm not getting below 200. I'll start crumbling and blowing away with the wind. I'll just gain more muscle to achieve my bf%

Took my measurements

I'm 6'0" 217lbs
Waist - 36" (fat af)
Shoulders - 53.5"
Chest - 45"
Arm - 17.25"

I don't have 100lb Dbs. Mine only go up to 70.

Haven't tried weighted chins yet. Prob can't bc of the fat af comment earlier

Haha, when I'm in your neck of the woods we should just get a lift in!

It may be, I get the feeling I'm overly critical on BF%. I go based on what the fit3d scan tells me, and I feel like that is high. It's got me at 22%. My eyeball calibration may be off.

didnt have your knee, wrist, thigh or calve measurements but plugged the others into my calc i have in excel....tell you how close you are from some of the different ones, you are close on most things, but understand you would have to knock 4" off your waist and keep those same measurements to meet some of these. Still impressive.
