The stats are great but I came here for the pictures of his old lady

Not bad for a guy who was the Perfect Game #400 rated prospect and #35 rated CATCHER only 4 years ago.
Baseball recruiting/scouting is a very difficult thing to do well.

Upvote #101 - bout the same as a Skenes fastball.

Is that good? I feel like it's good.
I'm not much of a baseball guy, but I hear that it's not that bad.

So so much more movement on his fastballs. They def changed his grip for the better. He’s unhittable when he locates just a lil bit. Be fun to watch.

I think he was on pace to need 150 pitches to go for the no hitter.

I think what's more impressive is that it was against the same team from a week ago. They had film on him and it didn't matter.
He elevated his game and struck out twice as many from last week.

So much for the " wait till a team see's him twice" talk.....

Him stretching in the bullpen in the final game was some of the best non-verbal intimidation I’ve ever seen. The batters kept staring over there. It was golden.

His splitter/sinker or whatever it is, is utterly filthy. Un-hittable.

Just amazing. He will be a beast for many years to come!

Damn!
That’s just unbelievable. And only his second MLB start.!

Clearly the Pirates farm system did an amazing job and should get all the credit.
