Spend all that money you had set aside for Moore to build the best d line class possible for 2025.

I’m sure our #1 overall QB recruit would love for us to gut the offensive budget for D line. Some of you really do not think at all

Who the hell said anything about taking money away from underwood and the offense? You’re just making stuff up now.

FWIW, LSU has never had an issue getting WR talent and putting them in the league.

Look back at the classes with Chase, Jefferson, Nabors, etc. They weren’t even the top WRs in their class but ended up being great.

I’m all for building up both trenches, getting top QBs, and letting LA/ TX talent carry us at the skilled positions, even if they’re not all the top ranked players.

You cannot help but wonder if this Dominic Turner Incident about NIL has other schools in the ear of every recruit that we aren’t paying near what the rest of the elites pay.

That money is sweetening the pot for Ffrench and Lockett.

Everything has it's own money.

You think the kids need someone in their ear to know this?

Maybe Moore played the game & knew he’d get in a bidding war.

LSU should focus their $$ on DL, QB, OL and be a little more stingy with everyone else.

Imagine you're trying to sell your car, so you get a quote from Carmax for 12K. It's am okay offer, but you really wanted more, so you decide to get an offer from a dealership. Carmax tells you not to waste your time, they'll only offer you 4K. Are you just going to believe them or are you going to search for a better offer? Similar concept. The facts are there, all they have to do is make the call for the offer.

Teams and coaches will for sure use it. The parent's of the players will too.

Thing is it doesn't matter and won't as long as bk is here. He is going to only pay what he thinks a player is worth.

Sure, let a 17 year old dictate how BK spends the money.

I never worry about LSU at WR. We already have the best WR from Louisiana and there's always a couple of others that sign that they've evaluated and come in. Mr. Moore is free to choose the university he prefers, and for whatever reason he chooses. We will be great again at WR.

Well, I keep trying to find fault, but truth is the best financial offer is going to get accepted the majority of the time. The big-name programs are all good with it being mostly about the $$ and the relationships with the coaches. But overall if there is a big discrepancy in the money on the table, the money is going to do the talking.

Scenario for you. Your choice of situations. 2011, elite defense, abhorrent offense(especially once Lee got happy feet and Jefferson came back) we go a run for the ages where we may have been as elite as we've ever been save 2019. 2023, offense one could only dream of. Unstoppable. Defense in the 100s, couldn't catch a fly on fly paper and the thoughts of comfortability never set in because they were so bad. Which scenario would you rather have if only able to choose 1? Your statement implies offense should rule the day. Our history implies that's the wrong decision. Even in 19 until the defense got healthy and efficient, we weren't thinking best team ever. We were calling for Arandas head.
