As long as it doesn’t go full Wreck-It Ralph 2, which was depressing as frick.

I still can’t believe how terrible that sequel was and really had almost nothing to do with gaming and seems like they only wanted to stuff all of their Princesses to market and sell more shite.

I think the sequel is obvious: the arcade is shutting down and they need to find another place to go, which yes would also use the internet but not really a central focus. Like how the previous one paid reference to Donkey Kong, MarioKart, and Metroid/Halo, make the next one reference Zelda, Street Fighter, and Final Fantasy and if you could get the rights maybe make Ganondorf or Sephiroth as the main antagonist, a bad guy who actually is a bad guy for once.

They were so heavy-handed with the princess stuff, it was a bit much

I love reading stuff like this, gives me a good laugh

These movies are not marketed towards you. None of the people who they market these movies to have any idea who any of the people you are referencing are. When they bother to make a reference to something you like, it’s either coincidental, something the developers care about, or designed to make you make your kids watch it. Why would they bother to make a movie catering to your demographic when 95% of the people who will watch aren’t in your demographic?

Grow up dude
