My kids go to a private school and I totally get that. We recently had to buy new school shirts for my son with a month left in school because he hit a growth spurt and couldn't keep his shirt tucked in. I was pissed because theres only a month left. Just let him make it the month and we will get new uniforms for next year. But no, I had to do it now because the private school said so.

On the other hand, pick your battles a bit. If this gender confused kid is trying to use the wrong bathroom, step in and say something. If they just want to wear clothes that are deemed appropriate for others (guys) to wear to this event, just let it go.

I get where you're coming from but you've got to draw the line somewhere, school is supposed to be a place of learning, not just book learning but how to interact with people, respect for others, discipline, etc., I think it's part of the learning process to learn to abide by the rules, not just the ones you want to abide by
