Livvy Dunne receives Coaches’ award from LSU Gymnastics

She deserves it.

She's brought a lot of eyes to LSU and women's gymnastics as a whole.

I know she may not be the most elite athlete in the nation, but the sport owes her a big thank you.

One of the oddest LSU athletes to hate on too. She 100% is good for the university. She helps with recruiting (football as well), reps LSU constantly on social media, dates an LSU baw, and what people don't seem to get is that she actually puts in work in the gym. No, she's not the best gymnast on the team, but she helped a championship team, it's not like she was making TikTok videos and not putting in work in the gym. Nobody was hating on LSU's 7th best player on the 2019 football team. She could be the best gymnast at plenty of other schools. Add to the fact that she's a smoke show.

I guess half the board would rather her be at Bama bringing good recognition to the university instead of LSU.

Her and Skenes will make a hell of an athlete.

She has brought a lot of positive attention to the gymnastics team and has been incredibly supportive of her teammates. That’s not always the case for someone in her position. So props.

I mean, not trying to hate, but didn’t she just make what essentially is an Onlyfans? I think it’s reasonable for people to wish she didn’t try to make money off of lonely men. She could be a better role model for young girls. But that’s our culture, I don’t entirely blame her.

She is a remarkable person, a team player, an LSU icon, and she has a bright future in whatever field she pursues. She is already set financially. She is clearly intelligent. She is well spoken. She may not be the best gymnast on this team, but she was an All American on the bars at one time. That, in and off itself, is enough to check that box. Anyone who earns All American status is elite.

The question is... What does she want to succeed at next?
