My cabin in Heber-Overgaard, AZ is less than a mile from the phone booth where Walton called for help after the "alleged" abduction. The phone booth is a popular attraction with tourists. [img]https://img.atlasobscura.com/50wiRnW3cwSD_4kiS2m66Vhmw7onMt4EXnXy_Xtf6Gs/rt:fit/w:1200/q:81/sm:1/scp:...

Huge Stones fan and will be seeing them next Tuesday in Phoenix. Probably have been to a dozen Stones concerts starting in 1981. I wasn't planning on going but stumbled on a free ticket so will be nice to see them one final time....
[quote]My dad’s BIL came home from a work trip. Drove up to the house and no lights were on. He went in the house and no light switches worked. He thought the electricity was out. Nope, it preceded The Living Room (previously Armitage) and was somewhere near Scottsdale Fashion Square/Old Town. I know a lot of women love The Living Room and I assume it's because of the hookup culture (and the rich guys who live nearby at Silverleaf & DC Ranch)....

A few years back some friends are in a Scottsdale bar and run into a group of married women in town for a girls weekend/shopping trip. One of the women told a buddy that five of the six women had already hooked up, according to her she was the only one who had not. Another friend (RIP) was datin...
