re: Does Epic Games have a Customer support phone number?
Posted by JustForThisThread on 4/26/24 at 11:35 am
I got this figured out. From the screenshots I posted above I had to create a different Epic display name. Once I did that I then had to create a new email account because the current email I use was already registered to another account. Which I assume is the account for my sons Nintendo Switch.

Thanks. It seems that if I just create this new Epic Games account then it should work.......Hopefully. I was trying to make the display names match but good to know those can be different.
If that doesn't work for some reason I'll be back for any other ideas. Thanks for all the replies....

So I have found this on their support site.

After following this process it appears that it does find the account for the PSN. And now it asks me to fill in a display name.

No, I don't believe so. I have been working at this for a few weeks now.
I tried creating a ticket and then started a live chat with support but it wasn't much help. I do not know if I was speaking to a live person or not. It seemed very odd. Then I was told that our conversation was being conve...
Does Epic Games have a Customer support phone number?
Posted by JustForThisThread on 4/21/24 at 1:03 pm
I am trying to put V-bucks on my sons Fortnite account but it keeps telling me that the Playstation is not linked to that account.
I have put V-bucks on the Playstation account before. More recently I have put V-bucks on his Nintendo Switch account. But now it tells me that the Playstation is not...
re: Capital One VentureX Credit Card question
Posted by JustForThisThread on 7/24/23 at 10:57 pm
Thanks and agreed. The Cap1 travel portal isn’t the best and often times I struggle finding exactly what I want so I eventually just book direct. Gives me something to think about. Although, it’s likely only 1 small travel booking would cover this credit anyway. ...
Capital One VentureX Credit Card question
Posted by JustForThisThread on 7/23/23 at 3:57 pm
Currently have used the Cap1 Venture Card for i don't know how many years. We put as much as we can on Credit Card and just pay off every month. Then we try to bank points for any vacations each year.
Just decided to look at Cards and Venture X seems to give you same double points per purchase b...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 5/23/23 at 11:15 pm
This trip is finally here. Fly out in the morning for Nassau. Wanted to thank you guys again for helping plan this trip. Haven't really planned anything. Just hope to make it there and once on the island we will just take it from there.
As long as I can stop and buy alcohol for the room fridge, l...
re: Nintendo Switch - Wifi issues & Joycon repair
Posted by JustForThisThread on 5/22/23 at 12:43 am
Thanks for the replies. I have since learned that the D-pad buttons also do not work well. These joy cons are so delicate. I know they have not been used poorly but just the typical gaming and hitting buttons they have not held up well. Hopefully all this can be repaired.
We do not have spares s...
re: Nintendo Switch - Wifi issues & Joycon repair
Posted by JustForThisThread on 5/15/23 at 7:47 pm
Thanks. Would they be able to tell me in advance before sending them the Joycons if they would fix the bumper?
Son prefers to play handheld so hardwire adapter wouldn’t help. but that’s interesting and never knew they had that. ...
Nintendo Switch - Wifi issues & Joycon repair
Posted by JustForThisThread on 5/15/23 at 11:46 am
2 questions:
1) The Joy cons on my sons Nintendo Switch have bad stick drift and the top right bumper button does not work.
I see from their website Nintendo offers free repair service. Anyone have experience with this? How long it normally takes? Is it just free repair on the stick drift or wou...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/13/23 at 11:14 pm
Got busy at work today and wish i would have seen this sooner. I was getting antsy and nervous so I went ahead and booked the flights. Did not want to risk something happening and not making the flight so went ahead and booked the 3:55 to be safe.
Guess we'll just have 4 hours to kill in the a...
re: Atlanta Interantional - Connection times
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/13/23 at 11:01 pm
Thanks. Ended up booking completely different outbound flight with different airline and airport. Still have the 2hours on the return home.
Never heard of the MyTSA app, will check it out....
Atlanta Interantional - Connection times
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/12/23 at 11:33 pm
Looking at flying through Atlanta internationally. The domestic connection is 50 minutes layover. Is this enough time?
Coming back internationally the layover is 2 hours. Is this enough time for going though customs?
Sorry if these are stupid questions but have not flown through Atlanta in qui...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/12/23 at 11:22 pm
Yes, once i get our flights booked my plan was to find something cheap and close for the layover.
How is the airport in Nassau. Everything I have seen is to give 2-3 hours for connections. Arriving won't be a problem since we do not make the flight to Deadman's Cay in any scenario. The flight bac...

Ya'll are only reenforcing my wifes thoughts......and have me starting to agree with her
Losing a night in Nassau sucks. We have 2 young kids so we are already pushing our limits of trying to squeeze 4 or 5 nights for this trip. Yes, flying out of MSY.
So if I can get her to agree to the ...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/9/23 at 11:38 pm
Thanks for all the info....which I'll come back to. But I need to work on flights getting there first. I'm not done but so far in my initial looking is it at all possible to make it to Long Island all in same day flying with Bahamas Air?
It seems a night stay in Nassau is unavoidable. Maybe you k...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/8/23 at 4:49 pm
Wow, thanks. So basically you can call and pretty much schedule which type of plane you want? It is just 2 of us so we would schedule a plane to ourselves or do they try and fill up a plane for a flight that day? I can call Stella maris Air and try and see about getting on a "bigger king air" plane...
re: Bahamas - Long island arrival by water
Posted by JustForThisThread on 3/8/23 at 12:09 am
Sorry, phrased wrong. Don't mean island hopping but getting to Long Island upon arrival. After flying in to Nassau is there ways to get there by water instead of catching another flight.
Have been to British Virgin Islands and loved it. Just trying to go to a new place....
