The delay and facing #1 had him too amped up…velocity, movement, LOCATION. Everyone gets enamored with the first 2, but location is just as important. Ack has a 6+ era and gives up a bomb every 14 AB so far this year…he’s got hood stuff but he’s in a funk, needs some mid week success slump buster innings, not crucial series innings....

Grambling ran the ball pretty well? They averaged 10 yards per carry in the first half! They moved the ball at will in the first half. This team is in big trouble. Thankfully Miss St is horrible too....

Players coming up through the ranks see very few quality lefties. Their 2 yesterday are phenomenal left handed talents and we still had our chances, just failed to capitalize. Every team would have problems with those 2....

Yep, first thing they teach middle line backers, when you see run, wait patiently. It’s called a run fit. MLB have gaps to fill, waiting patiently will only result in getting knocked on your arse....
