This is missing the very brief stage of Pels fandom where we all crow about how much better new clown is than old crown....
re: Latt looking like he will return to team
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/20/24 at 12:51 pm
I hope we keep him. With Latt, our secondary could be a legit strength of the team and really help win some games.
And admittedly not understanding the cap implications, I hope we wait till TC or in season to trade Lattimore. Similar the saints bringing in guys like Eli Apple to try and solve a ...
I think the reason Hamas did not agree to the cease fire is because all of the hostages are dead. They have nothing with which to bargain.
The bigger reason is Hamas doesn’t exist to govern Gaza or to provide for the well being of Gazans.
It exists to wage war against Israel ...
Feels like he's going to be Larry Bird 2.0
So in the argument for starting on any all time team? I think Luca and the mavs and every other fan in the country would sign up immediately to get a Larry Bird 2.0...

Assuming Denver holds on, we are in for a real treat of prime Jokic vs prime Doncic in a playoff series, each with comparable supporting casts.
Was a shame we never got prime Kobe vs prime lebron in the playoffs, or prime Durant vs prime lebron when the respective rosters were relatively balance...

Luka’s career numbers speak for themselves. Currently 28.7, 8.7, 8.3.
Lebron’s career averages are 27.1, 7.5, 7.4.
Luka needs to start playing more than 70 games a year to win a few MVPs and add a couple of rings, but Luka’s career is off to an incredible start.
He should also consider movi...
There is no denying Griff wasted the assets he was given. There is also no denying he came close to balancing the scales by pulling Herb and Trey with lesser assets. We can’t just say Griff screwed #4 without also acknowledging he outkicked the coverage with #35 and #17.
Flying a helicopter in dense fog over mountains is OK, but buying insurance in case you crash is prohibited because of uncertainty and gambling.
What an odd religion....
I mean come on your Mavs fandom is clouding your memory. Just last year a 1 seed lost in the first round! OKC was in 2nd round and pushed them close. Where do you guys come up with this crap lol. Jeez.
14 of the last 20 western conference 1 seeds went to the WCF or further.
the Pels board told me OKC wasn’t the best team, just merely the healthiest
OKC was probably the 5-6th best team in the west (they lose to a healthy nuggets, Twolves, mavs, and probably lakers and clippers), and one of the worst western conference 1 seeds of the last 20 years. ...

I don’t need anesthesia before surgery, I just watch a highlight reel of Pierre Thomas running screen plays during the operation.
No way I’m cutting that guy. It’s:
Deuce,
Pierre,
Reggie....
re: okietiger’s Thunder @ North Dallas Tiger’s Mavs | Game 6 edition | ABC
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/18/24 at 8:08 pm
At some point in this series Kyrie is going to have to show up in a big way offensively for Dallas to advance - I think. Even just one great quarter would probably be enough to carry Dallas across the finish line with the way Luca is playing...
No doubt. While I hope it stays this way tonight, it’s bizarre we are approaching a POTENTIAL game seven with no tense games. Game one was the closest to that I suppose.
2007-2008 Pels played a semi final against the spurs exactly like that. Went to game 7 with no game particularly...
even if the Wolves win tonight, they aren't winning game 7 in Denver. This is just fool's gold at this point. If they even hang on tonight..
You are playing with fire letting Minnesota back into a series. Game seven it happens will be potential game of the year....
It's certainly very overstated. I think the fairest criticism is less around the economy and more around being weak-spined with the middle east.
That’s my take as well. With the benefit of a broader view, it is more difficult to see the economy of the Carter era as one created vs o...

I grew up thinking Jimmy Carter was a terrible president. It’s just one of those things everyone says.
Now I’m not so sure. He might have been the last president to actually care about federal deficits and imposing some actual fiscal restraint on yourself.
Then Reagan comes along and blows ou...

Mavs are playing well defensively as a unit.
