I'm picking a bunch of cucumbers, squash, and zucchini. I've also started picking a few tomatoes and the heirlooms and dwarves are starting to come in. I'm going out of the country Thursday though and won't be back until June 1, so hopefully everything hangs on through the trip. I made 10 jars o...

I have a lodge griddle that I put on my gas grill for smash burgers. I like to get it around 450 for smash burgers. I make the burger balls and put them on the griddle for about 20 seconds, sprinkle SPG on top, then flip the ball and smash. Then I sprinkle SPG on that side. I find that if you let on...
I have three Eley hose reels and 4 of their hoses. They are fantastic and I've never found anything comparable. ...

Sometimes if the plants have some type of shock event like that but have set fruits, the fruits will continue to grow, but the plants struggle. I've had this happen to me before and my theory is that the shock event zaps the plant's energy so it only has enough energy to put into one thing (i.e. gro...
I fished with a conventional guide for the first time since I was a kid on Friday (work trip). I knew the guy, but I brought two of my own setups and a small bag of jigheads and plastics. My setups are going to be much better quality than your typical Penn Battle/Ugly Stik combo that guides have,...

Not much going on over by me. Just been picking squash, zucchini, and cucumbers waiting on everything else to turn. That probably means it's all going to happen at once . Here are some photos: Gypsy peppers. These are so much bigger than the Gypsy peppers I've grown in the past. [img]https...
Depending on your usage, the 261 is lighter and has a larger power to weight ratio. Built better with more quality material.
This. I have a MS261 and I love it. I have a 20" bar on it and honestly I need to drop down to an 18". The 20" eats pine pretty well but it'll slug a bit i...

I spent some time cleaning my garden yesterday. Should pick my first 3 tomatoes and cucumbers today. Also picked a couple more zucchini. Other than a couple SVB eggs, I’ve noticed no pest issues yet. I think this is the longest I’ve ever gone without having to spray neem or something more seriou...

Picked the first vegetables today. A bit later than last year but things are starting to come on quickly. Peppers are absolutely loaded. Tromboncino squash (I've started calling it dick squash) are fruiting and flowering. I've got 3-4 big beefs blushing and I will probably be picking some cucumbers ...

I've got some big beef tomatoes starting to blush and will be picking squash tomorrow. Also have some cucumbers starting to get some length. I saw my first vine borer eggs on the squash yesterday so that's a pain. I'll need to start dusting the vines here shortly. I got my irrigation mainlines run y...

I may be a little confused, but you want to leave a TV outside exposed to the elements without covering it? If that's the case, I don't think it matters what you buy. It's not going to last long. ...

I keep my indeterminates to 2-3 main vines starting 1-2’ up. Prune all the rest of the suckers. The exception here would be the cherries. I just kinda prune them for airflow. I prune the determinates and dwarf varieties for airflow. I did my first real pruning on my plants today. Cleaned up ...
