re: Another one - Paxton Kling to Portal
Well we said all season there would be major roster turnover once we finished up. Here it comes. I'm trusting Jay to bring in the missing pieces.
I am at the point as to sacrifice a year to rebuild through recruiting where we are not counting on 7 to 8, 1 or 2 year transfers to ...
I do not care one way or the other even though I like Jay alot as HC. I am at the point now nothing will surpise me and if he leaves LSU baseball will find a replacement....
I never will understand people who go to gulf coast to surf fish from the beach, past 9:00am, which causes everyone else to not be able to use that portion of the water and walk around fishing poles stuck in the sand. Just go to the pier or rent a charter if you want to fish. It isn't like you ...

re: Moffett in Portal makes no sense
Or understand that baseball player’s stock is highest their junior year and he needs a starting role to maximize his stock.
Moffett was better towards the end of the year but nothing he has done shows me he could be a starting pitcher at a program like LSU next year. Does he h...
Clemson is the Tigers, call their home field Death Valley, play hey fighting Tiger fight song, and now they have a Cajun cafe? My God they want to be us so bad. ...
TAMU fans really blow bubbles at their games? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since it is TAMU. ...
They got there by horse. There was land all the way to last island and enough of it for people to be raising cattle on it. Father in law was in the Corp of Engineers and has a camp in Dulac he talked about it often when we would fish there. If you have never been to “isle Derniere” it’s tr...
I 100% agree. Very seldom do I eat at a restaurant and think it was worth the money especially steaks, seafood, and Italian food. I also enjoy cooking so for me sitting around the house drinking a few beers or sipping on some bourbon and cooking is way more enjoyable than going out to eat. To each...
Definitely not the No 1 class in hindsight. Bad evals or bad development?
So was Jay Johnson the source of this #1 ranking or was it other media outlets ? All these players could have went almost anywhere they wanted. ...
Bingo. They don’t want you to know how comprised your data really is. ...
Nope. Hands down taking Ack out with their bottom of order in the 9th.
This is So easy to say after the game . What if the same Ack that pitched against Woodford showed up in the 9th? You would be saying Jay should have went to Jump. We will never know if he made the right or wrong...
I am begining to hate that guy. All talk no action and typical Rino. :doublebird:...

re: Why I would have stuck with Ack

Posted by KLSU on 6/4/24 at 1:15 pm
Either way we will never know if Ack would have gotten 3 outs in the 9th. It is easy to look back after the fact and say you think he should have stayed with Ack but Ack hasn't been as good as we thought he could be this year. He did look good in the 8th but how long would have have been the case?...
Yea,Tommy White was one of the main reasons LSU won the NC last year but while very good this year, not near as good as last, and probably some of it is not his fault while part of it was. It is fair to say the last AB in the 10th was actually pathetic. He needed to do more for this team to win...

Yep not to mention we hit so many balls hard right at them and they win on a few dink base hits. It’s a strange game. ...

The longer we stay in this the more pressure UNC will start feeling. We have a long way to go but after the 1st inning I couldn’t be happier where we are now. ...
