I keep hearing the tolls are really expensive. Do they accept credit cards?
It's toll by plate unless you have a geaux pass account. There is no toll booth. Takes 5-7 days to get your transponder if you sign up for an account. Truck with boat is now $21.50. Truck alone $4.50....
2003 Chevy SIlverado that I sold in 2019 with 230k miles on it. 12 years is the general advice on when repair costs outpace a new car note. When you can DIY though, only once you get to major repairs does that start to be the case....

Did it quite frequently in Venice, not as much recently. Leave the camp on Pass A Loutre about 30 min before dark. Head to the main pass rigs so that you arrive just at dark. Fish would turn on about an hour later once the lights had attracted the baitfish. Would catch specs, white trout and red...
Another vote for Neato. Have owned 2 in the last 6-7 years. Picks up the majority of the dog hair and dirt. Gets the floor clean enough in between major cleans....
They do ruin areas. They do decay over time and end up housing Section 8 folks, which crime tends to follow.
Blight isn't caused by apartments. That's just a symptom when an area starts to deteriorate and disinvestment occurs. Whether apartments are in the area or not has nothing...
I will say it again, you NIMBYs are the worst. You know nothing about the oridinances or engineering. Always pull out the boogeyman, apartments. Do you realize everyone cant afford a $500k house? In the NIMBY mind, that should be the bottom of the housing stock. Development is called progress, witho...
Hopefully, STG can finally control some of the shady development deals that have been rubber stamped as under-the-table handshakes that has destroyed this area for the last 15 years. Time to put in ordinances to stop the city from being trashed by various entities.
Here we go. You ...
As someone referenced above, Dunham does it in middle school and it is influenced by the Ron Clark Academy. Teachers have done conferences there during the summer....

Boykin spaniel who duck hunts and let's you shoot a shotgun 6" from her is scared of anything related to rain. Smell of rain and she starts shaking. Tries to climb on you the whole time. Husky/shepherd mix is opposite. Couldn't care less about the rain but deathly afraid of guns and the vaccuum clea...
He said it was dugout to build up I12 and is super deep but idk how accessible it is.
Was good until around 05/06 when they dug around it for fill mitigation for the apartments. Now it is a very small water surface that is full of grass. May still be some fish, but not like it was ...
If you feel hazard lights are necessary, you should safely exit the road
This is the only correct answer....
Who is open? I’ve only seen Dunham.
Wife (no pics) teaches there and they are always the last to close. Multiple times like today, they will be the only one open....
Yes, he is along the rail currently....
We went up to Sulphur Springs from Houston area and we were amazed by how empty it was with no traffic.
We were just south of there near Yantis on Lake Fork. Went in to Sulphur Springs sunday. Nice little quaint downtown. Spent a few hours shopping and eating with the wives. Very...

Yes, roundup works primarily by being absorbed by the leaves into the plant you are trying to eliminate. It won't hurt a tree being sprayed at the base....
