they Indicate a hazard
Hazard lights are supposed to indicate a stopped vehicle, usually (but not always) pulled over to the side of the road. If visibility is low and someone sees your hazard lights on, they might think that your vehicle is stopped on the side of the road, assume t...
Rocky is the best, with Rocky Balboa providing the bookend to the story. Rocky III and IV are my favorite 1a and 1b. Rocky II is right behind those two. Rocky V is my least favorite. It has some good ideas, but has some of the worst acting without the same level of payoff. If you include the ...

Earthquakes of those magnitudes happen somewhere in Japan with regular frequency. Most buildings are engineered to easily handle them. That's why your clients didn't sweat it. [link=(https://www.data.jma.go.jp/multi/quake/index.html?lang=en)]Japan Meteorological Agency[/link]...

I've seen restaurants with stated time limits in Japan where space is at a premium, but the service is always fast at those places. I can understand the charge at a busier place in the USA, but if it was a result of the staff's own slow service then the tip would be reduced by a corresponding amo...

re: Sci-Fi baws: How is Babylon 5?

That's part of what I was talking about by saying issues with the studios. Even taking that into account, there are some good things about season 5, but it also has its weak points. It's still worth watching, though. In a way, the weaker points and more one-off episodes of season 5 kind of mirr...

It may be worth noting just how low of a budget they had to work with, too. They didn't have sound stages or a lot of money for costumes or props, and they were working in an old hot tub factory and warehouse. It makes what they came up with that much more impressive....

I personally enjoy Babylon 5 more than Deep Space 9. It's one of my favorite shows of all time. The long term story arc was better than other sci-fi, especially considering the series didn't have an existing "universe" to pull from and had to build the story from scratch. And although issues with...

It's not going to make people's top 5 song list, but my favorite has always been the song from The Sword in the Stone where Merlin is packing the room and saying a lot of gibberish magic words, "Higitus Figitus"...
