Downside to moving to a large city is the commute. Sounds miserable spending two hours in a fricking car to go back/from to work. I’ll take my 15 minute commute and go visit the big cities for fun...

Accountant here. Make almost 90k . Feel under appreciated working for the state. But get paid OT, good health insurance, pension. Feel like I need a change but am thankful I get to spend time with my newborn and wife and do not have to travel....
