We’ve done nothing other than regular maintenance on them. And we put pretty hard miles on them.
Regular maintenance is pretty extensive on those engines. The oil pump belt change has a book time of 16.8 hours for 4wd. That would be quite the labor bill not to mention several parts...
Quite the opposite. 500 hours in a f-4/15 is a lot of work.
Average military pilot probably flies 80 to 100 hours per year. A civilian probably flies 50. The poster stated that she only had 500 hours of flight time and that was why she crashed. 500 hours is a lot of flight time fo...
it's all relative, when I hit 500 hours, about 200 were in an F-4 and almost 200 were in an F-15, on the civilian side I don't think 500 hours is quite the same
Yea, 500 hrs in the military is nothing but for a civilian it is quite a lot....
That’s always been a difference between IH and Deere planters.
The advantage I feel that Case units have over John Deere units is the the offset opening disks not closing wheels. Also having pulling or trailing gauge wheels as opposed to pushing the gauge wheels save a lot of wear ...
re: Apple is restoring deleted NSFW photos to accounts

I had an iPad that I was using as a monitor in a tractor so I deleted everything on it before letting the driver use it. It asked me if I was sure I wanted all photos deleted because they could not be retrieved. I said yes because I thought it was just deleting them from that IPad. It deleted my ent...
Don’t they have the double offset openers like the IH? With the little searching I did, the old 7000s were double what I found this IH for.
7000 doesn’t have offset openers like case. We always ran a worn disc on one side that gave it a leading edge to help it cut through residue a...
