re: How do y'all marry people and hate their parents?
Posted by NATidefan on 5/12/24 at 2:34 pm
Well, seems like it would be more miserable to hate my wife and love her parents, for one. Her Mom lives 5 hours away... my wife lives in my house.
ETA: my wife isn't real fond of her mother either. ...

Get or borrow a cat. Mines a little annoying sometimes, but she'll smell a mouse before I ever know one got in the house and will wait it out and catch it within a night or two. ...

Yeah, there little pro series one for like 46 dollars looks like it would fit the bill, thanks.
This looks about like what I want for the right price range.

Eh, I hate wasting money. Looking for something 50 or less. Don't need an electric or a real big one. Just a good one that sprays well....
Recommend me a sprayer for roundup?
Posted by NATidefan on 5/10/24 at 4:49 pm
Small jobs mostly, my firepit has gravel around it and so does a parking spot for my 12 foot trailer and they both have weeds/grass that I'm tired of pulling out.
Last two pump sprayers I bought were crap and leaked etc, and I don't really want that stuff on me.
Thanks....
So harbor freight has a 5% cash back card...? might have to check that out.

re: The future of dating: Your AI dating another person’s AI.
Posted by NATidefan on 5/10/24 at 12:59 pm
What if my AI and the other person's AI break up? That would be awkward for my real relationship. We couldn't double date anymore and all four of us running into each other in public... fricking nightmare. ...

re: Power outage: how long do you trust food in the refrigerator
Posted by NATidefan on 5/10/24 at 6:07 am
Milk, smell test.
Eggs probably are fine as long as they didn't sweat (build up condensation). Bacteria from outside can move through the shell if they sweat, other than that they should be good. Most people in other countries don't even refrigerate eggs. Just leave them on the counter....
