Oh yeah, everything you said makes total sense. CICO is misleading though because as you pointed out, not every calorie is the same in how it’s broken down in the body based off of the macronutrient that calorie is tied too. I thought you did a nice job laying that out. ...

I feel like keeping net carbs to 50g a day or less is a good balance. It’s not no carb so you can still perform quite well but it also limits the amount of empty shite you can eat....
