How does it compare to the 425?...

Yea I never really noticed the sound. Not something I think about during or right after a swing. My 7 year old hates the way it sounds and always complains when I pull it out. I understand his frustration with it but as long as I keep hitting it as well as I am, he will just have to deal with it lol...

I have a G425 max. I have the 9 degree turned down to 7.5*. I just played with them and 7.5* is where I settled. Love that driver. Also shaft makes a huge difference. I struggled with high launch high spin with a stealth plus. Spin was around 3000. I have a rogue white xstiff and I spin rhe G425 max...

They were rocket launchers. Just gave the 3 and 5 wood away yesterday to my coworkers son who’s learning to play. I had the high launch models. You would be hard pressed to find easier fairway woods to get up in the air of the deck. Switched to a lower launching and lower spin woods. Still have the ...

Years ago me and my BIL went to get fitted for a driver. We both wanted the brand new TM R1. We hit so many drivers and after everyone we hit the R1. We wanted to love it so bad we just hated it and hit it so bad. I got fitted for a RBZ stage 2 which was a great driver for me. He got fitted with a c...

It was explained to me the sheath around the tendon in the palm gets inflamed and doesn’t allow the tendon to move. Typically the tendon gets stuck and then pops. In my case it’s just stuck. ...

Trigger finger

Posted by LSUfreak1459 on 6/3/24 at 3:17 pm
I was hitting balls Saturday morning when I felt a very odd and painful sensation. Pain lasted a minute but I can’t move the tip of my left index finger. Have a swollen spot on my palm that I get a tugging sensation when I try to bend it. Read it’s very common in golf, one of the chase could be due ...

Golf isn’t easy. Take some lessons, then after that take some more lessons. Spend more money on lessons and less on the latest and greatest clubs. If you have those beginner sets that’s all hybrids for the irons, throw them away and get a legit set of game improvement irons. You might be making good...

I had this same issue. I had a 60gr stiff. Got a new driver with a rogue white 70gr xstiff. Spin is way down (even went from a stealth plus to a G425 max) and I can feel where the head is so much better. ...

Takomo 101’s. Never hit them but there are tons of raving review. One of my good friends took up golf last year and got them. Unfortunately he’s a lefty so I never could try them. He loves them though. ...

Go hit them at your local golf store. I was wanting to upgrade my irons and couldn’t decide which way to go. I didn’t want a hot GI that would give me more distance. I also wanted something that looks nice in the bag and iron that I could learn to really work the ball with. He convinced me to try th...

I was a 10 handicap but went a few years without playing. Picked it back up 2 months ago. Played twice and shot mid 80’s. Mainly due to driver and short game trying to get caught back up. I hit balls every day on my LM. My strong point has always ball striking. The 7’s are more forgiving than you’d ...

I recently got a set of zx7 and zx5’s. 7-PW are zx7’s and 6&5 are zx5’s. Love my irons. I don’t notice much of a difference in forgiveness between the two. I was a little worried about getting zx7’s but they are way easier to hit than I thought they would be. Probably going to change out the zx5’s t...

I hit x20’s for 17 years. I played on and off. Just switched to zx7’s. The new irons are much better. I’d give the zx5’s or zx4’s a try if I were you. ...

I have heard that the setup has to be spot on. I watched a few videos of it compared to track man and it was very close on just about everything. I looked at an original skytrak and a Bushnell launch pro (since it’s now $2k for ball data) but I just didn’t want to pay a yearly subscription just to u...

What I see on it is typically what I see on course. There are shots I’ll hit that I’ll know is wrong on the R10. I have also tested it to my BIL’s about golf simulator. It’s in the ballpark most of the time on shot shape. It helped more when the net was 10’ away vs 8’. Distance is pretty spot on, d...
