As an owner of a condo I can tell you that there are many things a family that respects a place and is understanding can do to save money if they establish a track record. We usually book up with a solid base of families who respect the place and appreciate us...

Love grouper and then Artic char sharing number 1. Then go to pompano, trigger fish and speckled trout and tuna and redfish and catfish when done right,, and then it all sort of blends together depending on recipe. Most disappointed in red snapper....

No mention of brisket. Those of us from LA don’t need to go to TX for crawfish or ribs or chicken. We go for the TX brisket and the different sausage. Anything cooked in TX can and usually is better in LA. Except brisket. ...

My thoughts exactly. A real woodsman or outdoorsman can identify snakes. And deal with them. They will avoid biting you if at all possible. Though water moccasins can be pretty aggressive and territorial. Ticks are more of a real problem than snakes. Some people just hate to be reminded that wildl...

Ate at Acme Oyster House in Gulf Shores week or so ago. Solid. Very good Louisiana raw oysters. Po-boys (shrimp, ouster and soft shell crab) were great. One had a crab cake which was good. Good drink menu. Will go back....

We stay at the first condo to west of the fishing pier. Have almost a mile of dunes with no other condos. Place is more reasonable than many others on east side of 59. Quiet at night and clean.
