No. The original Mike Andersons was in the former College Town Grocery, a building that stood where the strip mall on Highland, with Drunken Fish, right outside the Gates near College Town now sits. Interesting enough, that same strip mall is where the original TJ Ribs was located before moving...
Agree or disagree with him at times, it was hard not to feel the city was in good hands with a competent leadership team and lead by someone who really wanted the best for Baton Rouge and all of its people. The city felt vibrant, positive, and looked toward an improving future ahead. ...

Starbucks in the 90’s and early 2000’s had good consistent coffee. The espresso shots were very consistent. It all tastes so bad now they have to incorporate flavors and sweeteners into everything to mask the coffee. Their basic iced coffee and iced latte drinks are terrible now. ...
My biggest complaint is why can’t they attract and keep local vendors anymore. They must make the contracts nearly impossible to make enough for it to all be worthwhile. The food at Alex Box could be so much better without much effort. ...
