Wait are you saying that the AOGC already has a value for brine of $0.364/bbl?...

Isn’t Arkansas bromine an in lieu of royalties arrangement? Something like $56/year/acre I think I read. You clearly have lots of technical understanding here. When the landowners requested a 12% royalty at the Dec hearing (similar to oil royalties), were they requesting 12% gross of lithium car...

I was wondering how they performed this last year vs other lithium companies to have better perspective. Compared 5 lithium stocks’ 1 year change: Albemarle -38% Standard Lithium -58% Lithium Americas (Joe Lowry’s baby) -58% Sigma Lithium -58% Piedmont Lithium -75% I’d love to see how Mint...

Upcoming conferences. Feeling better about these since they will be in DC with their "strategic partners" and then presenting at another conference alongside Koch and Equinor. Assuming the off-take mention refers to 1A ...

I played with a 10% gross royalty based on the worst case that I'd heard. You know these details of Exxon's offer? I remember reading that the East Texas lease options include all minerals but that Tetra has only leased to SLI rights to extract lithium. So bromine/potash/sodium/calcium/etc are ir...

Okay on second thought my last post was ridiculous, they have to have those "units," as they call them, since two different companies can't feasibly get two neighbors' brines. I'd love to know what came of that one AOGC commissioner's request for the best existing brine lease that anyone could f...

I'm still not sure how these leasing "territories" work. Like, oil/gas companies can run around and outbid one another for leases, as long as the royalty offered is higher than the state minimum of 12.5%. Why isn't the AOGC setting the lithium minimum at 2% and letting brine/lithium producers try to...

I edited an Arkansas brine territories map to show how a 10% royalty would affect the operating costs of 1A and SWA, using their DFS and PFS. Notice just how much stronger SWA is than 1A. $15,000/ton seems to be the neighborhood where lithium spot prices have been for the past several months. [im...

Speaking of royalties, the May hearing has been cancelled. They're still negotiating a brine/infrastructure deal with Lanxess for 1A anyway, so it's not like the royalty is the only holdup. ...

Just listened to the fireside chat where Water Tower Research interviewed CFO Salah Gamoudi and all I can say is in terms of speaking, I'd vote for him over Mintak as CEO without hesitation. Either way, glad things are progressing  PS He did say that they are aiming for 1H 2025 for SWA D...

Not to mention the scale of TX. They called it a multiple of SWA, while SWA has an after-tax NPV over $3B. I don't intend to sell anything until those questions get answered, but I've never seen something like a ride from $1-$10...

Tell me about it. I own some minerals at basically the midpoint between Lanxess and SWA. Which would fall into Albemarle's territory at least, but I'm like 5 miles too far north for Albemarle. Can only hope for continued expansion. Glad to hear that their success will mean some success for you Sm...

It makes sense that they wanted to wait for Equinor to be in the royalty process with them. Seems less likely now that Exxon could bully SLI through higher royalty tolerance. I’m on the lookout for this month’s hearing applications and will post if ours appears. Just finished reading the new [...
