re: Should Trump pull an EWE and not offer a defense?

Until I heard Robert Costello’s testimony, I would’ve said yes. I think Costello moves the case from a hung jury to an acquittal. He’s a very credible and compelling witness....

Biden’s history of pandering to conservative Southern Dixiecrats is well documented, yet the media just ignore it and pretend history started in 2019. ...

The fact that you are now arguing that Trump was a net positive for the GOP in the House in 2020 is progress, I guess. We’ve come a long way. ...

Option 3 is not without danger:

According to reports, Cross bought a new tire for the women and allowed them to stay in h...
There are good candidates out there. The problem is loudmouth grifters like Kari Lake saw an opportunity and jumped. Republicans weren’t acting behalf of their voters. There was a void there to fill.
Blake Masters was a brilliant and dynamic senate candidate, esp over Mark Kelly. ...

We forget the lessons of past elections. In ‘16, Trump helped get the GOP majorities in the House and Senate, in ‘20, Biden did the same thing, voters supported him and other dem candidates delivering Biden majorities in both chambers. The takeaway is that voters base their choices for down-ballot c...

This CBS poll is a suppression poll. It’s designed to make news and encourage Republicans to embrace a Jeff Flake candidate. Lake still gives the GOP the best chance to win in a State that is increasingly moving leftward thanks to white suburban women, and California refugees. ...

McCain straight up lied to Arizona voters in his last campaign. Promised to repeal Obamacare then gave it the thumbs down. McCain alienated his own voters more than anyone else. ...

Sorry but 17,167 “McCain voters” aren’t the reason Lake lost. White, suburban moms were. Trump won AZ in 2016 after saying he respected heroes that didn’t get captured, like McCain. The Republican base was done with McCain after 2008. Quit with the revisionist history. ...

You realize that Lake barely lost the governor’s race, right?
Final results from the election:
Hobbs - 50.3% - 1,287,891
Lake - 49.6%- 1,270,724
This poll is clearly an outlier. No way Lake underperforms her 2022 totals, esp in a bad year for Dems nationally. ...

Here are the 2 outcomes that can happen from stopping: (1) I help them change the tire, (2) they rob and kill me.
Frankly, I’m not a fan of those odds. ...

It’s still very early in the race. I think many people are afraid to tell pollsters they support someone who’s considered controversial like Kari Lake. If this truly turns into a red wave election, then all bets are off for the dems. ...
