re: Adjusting Loft/Lie on Driver
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 6/4/24 at 8:46 am
I recently changed up my driver (Paradym) to -1 and adjusted the weight to mid way on the side of a draw. I typically hit a fade. It has worked out great for me.
After that, I made some adjustments to my 3 wood (Cobra F9) that I have avoided at all cost. I would typically just use a 4 iron in mos...

re: Would you prefer an Elite offense or an Elite defense
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 5/6/24 at 3:54 pm
I would definitely say an Elite offense. You are never out of the game. We have had both in the not so distant past and nothing is more frustrating than a defense setting the tone and dominating, only to see an inept offense go three and out 8 times per half...

I just ordered mine. All of the reviews I have watched basically said the same thing. I dont want to get the X and start hooking the ball and I heard the Smoke Triple Dia...

re: Thoughts when hitting fairway woods
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 4/9/24 at 10:05 am
I watched a video a few days ago about hitting fairway woods properly and the guy made a great point that I implemented and had some success with. I was putting the ball pretty far in the front of my stance and bringing my right shoulder down to create loft. That is not necessary when hitting off th...

The Dancing Rabbit - Any advice or first hand reviews??
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 3/20/24 at 10:49 am
Thinking about booking a weekend at The Dancing Rabbit in a month or so. Just curious which Packages worked out best or just overall experience at the casino and on the course. Any insight is appreciated....

Frenchmans is pretty wet right now, but in a month will be in great shape.
Black Bear is a 45 minute drive, but well worth it.
Mystic is an hour away and a very nice, but challenging course.
Trail Inn in Arcadia is a lot of fun, cheap and lots of hills. Bout 45 minutes away.

re: Sore back remedies after a round of golf??
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 3/7/24 at 1:24 pm
[quote]I don’t think it’s normal for an overweight person to hurt 3-4 days after playing a round of golf, maybe a day of soreness but 3-4 days is more than soreness, it’s sounds more like an injury. If it were normal for overweight people to hurt that long after playing the golf course would be pret...

Dont take it that way at all. Its absolutely true.

I appreciate the recommendations from you guy...
Sore back remedies after a round of golf??
Posted by ChuckUFarley on 3/6/24 at 7:28 am
I know, typical old guy thread.
I have had a bad back for many years and after a round of golf it takes 3-4 days to recover. Seems like that number grows every year as well. I take Ibuprofen before and after, stretch properly, have a massager and tens unit at home. Nothing seems to knock out the ...
