Very big deal and it removes a big portion of the risk investors have faced. We should run hard after this.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this paves the way for banks to hold bitcoin and make fiat loans against the asset.
I don't think we see this for a few years as we still have too much vola...

Yep.
Even people like me who use cold wallets will be tempted to just leave it with Fidelity.
So much less friction.
Trying to explain cold wallets to someone whos not balls deep in crypto is almost impossible...

For the average person, I think the ETFs are fine. IBIT has the lowest expense ratio.
Buying bitcoin and holding it on your own wallet is by far the preferred method (not your keys, not your coins) but there is a learning curve and i've seen many people struggle with it.
Buy a hardware wallet ...

I think it really depends on what the competition can accomplish in the next few years.
I don't think there is any doubt that AI is going to have an equal or greater impact on humanity than the internet did and right now Nividia is in the lead to take advantage of that.
