Honestly my only gripe with JJ last night is I think he pulled Hurd too early. That walk was squeezed AF and the hit was just a lucky location. He was still doing fine IMO. Yea, that's his 4 seam fast ball. Which, based on the the short data set he has compiled isn't actually his best pitch....

Yea, and the funny thing about it, is the ACTUAL movement of his split finger fastball is 2x that drop and 3x the horizontal movement. But not only that, the man throws BY FAR the fastest average fastball pitch speed of any starter in the MLB while also ranking #5 on competitive pitch rate for start...

Lol, not only is skenes the best pitcher in LSU history. He has one of the best ERAs in the MLB for a starter right now. If he qualified for for the pitchers ranking, not enough games played, he would sit at #15 in the league's highest pitcher ERA at 2.45. The man is allowing one run every 4 innings...
