Dove Field Guidance
Posted by Lizrdman9 on 6/6/24 at 11:49 am
Got our Brown Top Millet in the ground a couple weeks back. Approximately 2.5 acres worth. Trying to decide which way to go prep wise prior to season start. The field is in two sections.
What do the expert think? ...

Tigerfoot
Help me understand.
What you are saying is from the knee (I agree is a great receiving position) he is a poor receiver of the baseball currently. As displayed all year.
Conventionally he would be even worse receiving (not sure I know what that looks like)... But if there is the p...

That may be true for a few catchers but your telling me that our catchers are better at blocking balls in the catchers box this year by 25%. What games are you watching. Multiple pass balls through the wickets have cost LSU dearly, simply because we can't get our glove down in the correct manner. ...

re: IMO we need to change our pitching approach

Easily the most down to Earth description of our pitching approach. Not only does this hit the high points it gives an explanation of the thought process behind it. Our secondary guys/bullpen do not attack the zone whatsoever and fall behind consistently. We have one arm that is capable of living...

I have a set of lone wolfs set up with cheaters I am looking for a semi permanent option.
I did think about hanging the lock ons and then using sticks on every hunt. They tend to be clunky/cumbersome and I end up being a sweaty mess once Im situated

Nail Substitute for Tree Steps/Ladders?
Posted by Lizrdman9 on 8/30/22 at 12:05 pm
Gents,
As we approach October plans are being made on new sets/ tree stand location. I normally hunt from Lockons and have been using the big clumsy 20' ladders that are strapped to the tree for the past five years.
In the past I have used everything from ameristep treesteps to the old scho...
re: Let’s talk bow releases
Posted by Lizrdman9 on 7/13/22 at 8:36 am
They help to an extent. If you have trigger panic with a traditional release, I can imagine you will have a tendency to punch shots with a thumb release initially (anticipating your shot)! Not difficult to overcome with practice. I found personally my groups tend to be tighter with the thumb relea...
