re: Any guys do yoga?
Posted by NolaLovingClemsonFan on 6/13/24 at 5:16 am
I hit that late 30s life and as an avid weightlifter, I was starting to notice the ah shite creaks here and there and the limitations or pains when reaching or bending. A friend of mine invited me to a yoga class, and first I couldn’t do a single one of these seemingly easy pointless poses (which I l...
re: Are great rom coms completely dead?
Posted by NolaLovingClemsonFan on 6/12/24 at 10:17 am
As mentioned, Always Be My Maybe was pretty good IMO.
I also don’t know if Someone Great is considered a rom com, it’s sorta like The Breakup where it isn’t traditional, but the gf and I loved it. ...
re: What happened to Emile Hirsch?
Seems to be working steadily, not sure what you mean.
He was the front man for two relatively large movies, and then it’s been basically nothing leading for 10 years. I guess y’all are saying he’s still “working”, but it seems like he could’ve been Idk maybe not an It Guy but somet...
What happened to Emile Hirsch?
Posted by NolaLovingClemsonFan on 6/11/24 at 5:32 am
Watched an Into the Wild scene that randomly popped on my feed this morning, and damn this kid was incredible in that movie. He played such a perfectly charismatic and idealistic yet impossibly naive kid so damn well. He was similarly very impressive in The Girl Nextdoor, and then he sorta just disa...
re: Anyone who struggles with waking up early found a good reliable solution?
My work schedule is shite, I never know what time I’ll get off. Some days it’s noon and some days it’s midnight. So for any type consistency, I had to do early AM.
This is me to a tee. I always say I know no one is gonna be throwing a 5 AM on my calendar whereas it seems like I’m a...

re: Best option for multiple savings accounts?
Posted by NolaLovingClemsonFan on 6/4/24 at 7:45 am
Thanks, all!
As far as what we’re saving for, it’s most of the things y’all mentioned: emergency fund, vacation, etc. It’s sort of embarrassing how we handle things right now, but we basically keep about $40-50K in our checking that’s everything. It functions as an emergency fund, vacations, misc...
Best option for multiple savings accounts?
Posted by NolaLovingClemsonFan on 6/3/24 at 7:37 pm
The significant other and I have decided to take a more intentional approach to our finances. We have no kids and have admittedly lived lately quite lavishly with two pretty good salaries and no major expenses. Money comes in and we know roughly how much goes out each month, but we’re far from dilig...
Are you going today?
Nah. I was unwilling to drop that much when it wasn’t certain he would be playing, and now that it’s certain, no tickets are available. We’ve been outside RG for hours hoping to find some, but there’s none. It’s gonna be a full house.
Kicking myself that I ...
I know Rafa has fans there like crazy but I wouldn't drop $2k on tix unless he's your all-time favorite player.
He is, and I’ve seen him at 3 of 4 slams, this being the only one I haven’t. ...
Gun to my head, I think they would make it the last day match as the night matches don't quite seem to be as big of a deal there as they are in New York.
Yea, this is what everyone seems to be thinking, but fvck I’ll lose it if I drop that money to watch Djoker against some qualif...
Mate spend that extra money on a beautiful French escort. Much more memorable than seeing Rafa lose in 4.
Pre-significant other, your idea would’ve crossed my mind ha
I’ve seen Rafa at all other majors, dying to see him in the place he ruled like a titan. ...

These ticket brokers playing absolute games with us. First they wait until today to announce that Rafa plays Monday. Then they only announce that he’s playing that day and not the session so tickets are already skyrocketing without even knowing whether Rafa will be day or night session. Tickets for ...

I thought she was basically a lock after her first performance. Her story is great, she’s got such a good voice, and she’s absolutely stunning. I thought it was beyond a wrap.
But her last couple performances have left me a little underwh...
