Redshirt and Medical redshirt. Has 4 year’s eligibility when healthy, not to mention the physical growth and football IQ. Kid remained locked in, and made the decision to get healthy (surgery) on his hips.

I really don’t think this metric will even matter. There are too many clips of him making SEC speed defenders look silly. His on field speed and quickness is already impressive and proven. ...

My opinion, this is happening at all “Major” football programs. Unfortunately, it has evolved into a business, with investment and ROI on the field.
The time of building a program on 4/5 stars and having them sit because of playing time is over, and rostering 4/5 stars that are not in the 2 deep...

4 and 5 stars in 2nd year being re-evaluated. I am sure you have a few exceptions like Heard, but I just don’t see that many.

No doubt…..patience young grasshopper. Knows how to read coverage, always where he is supposed to be. Football IQ and athleticism will definitely have him on the field.
This kid was on the same “Bootlegger’s” team as Anderson and others. His skills will not be an issue.

#1 IS the reason. The staff gave both an honest evaluation within an SEC caliber program. If you don’t measure up honestly to the likes of Jefferson, Jamar, Malik, Brian, the writing is on the wall. Sometimes self evaluation and personal desire, sees things differently. Hence, the “Portal”. ...
