French Fries
Posted by GeauxTigahs92 on 5/9/24 at 9:02 am
Doing some feta fries for the wife for Mother's Day. Not sure how many pounds of potatoes I should get. It will be 6 adults and one child. I was thinking 3 pounds since its just an app/side dish. Does that sound about right?...

Eastbound and Down

Watched first episode today and wow you can tell this was made 15 years ago......in a good way. Political correctness does not exist and it is refreshing. Danny McBride is hilarious and I am only one episode in. Cannot wait to see what happens in this show. :rotflmao:...

How hard is the jump from one child to two?

Wife and I found out this weekend that we are expecting baby number 2. We were not trying but also were not preventing so it did come as a little bit of a surprise. First couple days I was stressing out big time over finances and all the normal stuff but I have come to accept that we will make it ha...
Silo
Posted by GeauxTigahs92 on 4/30/24 at 2:02 pm
Started this a few days ago and I like it so far. I am impressed with Apple TV and most of the shows I have watched on the platform. Hoping Silo continues it's path and doesn't stumble down the stretch!...

Agreed. They could go in so many directions. I just hope they pick a good one. But based on the first season I'm sure it'll be great. ...

You won't regret it. If you find the first few episodes slow just give it time and persist. Last 2-3 episodes are mind blowing....
Severance

I know there have been a couple threads recently about this show which is what made me watch it. All I have to say is holy shite! This show is amazing. The first few episodes were a little slow to me but the buildup was great. I stayed up until midnight last night because I had to know how it ended. ...

Night to myself. What to watch?
Posted by GeauxTigahs92 on 4/13/24 at 9:01 pm
Wife is out of town for the night. Kid is tucked in. Now what to watch? Hit me with your favorite movie to watch when your wife isn’t there to complain about what’s on tv. ...

Watched Unbreakable last night and damn I was not expecting that ending at all. Caught me totally off guard and made the movie 100x better. Would have been a little disappointed in it if it weren't for that. Blew my mind....

Split

Came across this movie on Netflix and did a rewatch and man the acting of McAvoy is phenomenal. To be able to change body language, expression, and accent at the drop of a hat is impressive. I have never seen Unbreakable or Glass so now I know what I will be watching when I have free time. ...
