The average EBR teacher salary is 51k after last year's issue of a raise. The bonus is a one time thing, a decrease in 2700 is permanent. The state is offering a one time stipend of 1300 instead of permanent teacher raises....

I'm failing to see the 1300 raise being official, I've seen reports it was reported along with the 1300 stipend from the state. A 2700 decrease is still significant if it implies EBR teachers will go from averaging 51k a year to 48k. So I will actively be following this ...

Maybe I am missing where EBR is giving 1300 raises. The state is about to give a 1300 stipend which is a one time ordeal. If you decrease salaries by 2300 you are impacting retirement and a lot more. ...
