re: Next F&DB Challenge - GAS STATION FOOD - Tuesday, July 2
Posted by Antib551 on 5/31/24 at 1:36 pm
Not that I participate in these (I love being along for the ride though), but this has massive potential! I'd love to see a gas station challenge made from actual raw gas station ingredients, not using "hot bar" branded items like Krispy Crunchy Chicken or already fried or ready-to-eat foods. Boudin...

Also, depending on local tax laws, its not an actual sale. Its an instant rebate. Sign says you may be paying taxes on the full price....

Foliar spray is a losing battle. You cant possibly cover every square inch. Give it an Imidacloprid drench to get rid of the whiteflys.
Foliar spray with All Seasons horticultural oil to loosen the sooty mold to wash off during the rains.
I have about 160 linear feet of Viburnum that was inf...
re: What y’all cooking for Memorial Day?
Posted by Antib551 on 5/27/24 at 9:17 pm
Had beef plate ribs and 2 boneless turkey breast.
Ribs were a year old from my freezer, came out ok, but were taking forever compared to fresh so I pulled them early.
Turkey breasts came out fantastic. 1 SPG w/ a little cajun season and the other was Italian herb holiday style. Gonna have som...

I've had one since 2021 as well. I use it multiple times a week. I've had a couple fires from stupid cooking practices (smoking burgers and chicken, then trying to grill them). I had a backburn issue once, but that was from the hood vents being clogged with grease. Cleaned the lid and kept rolling. ...
It is obviously illegal to offer the services for a fee or for any other means of compensation. You, may, however be a better surveyor than some with which I have delt in the past. The following is a communication that I found necessary to sent to a firm of "PROFESSIONAL SURVEYORS" in regards...
Tim McGraw country
Makes sense. Like you said, not many around. Mom and pop surveyors are few and far between and its very hard to turn a profit on small private projects, especially with travel involved. Also hard to get paid from private clients. ...
With today’s technology. Who still uses total stations?
TONS of people still use total stations. Like every day. Like Coot said dimension control/industrial measurement is one use where GPS wont work.
But plenty of boundary still done with TS, particularly Class A work. GPS is onl...

And to piggyback off of LSUengr's post, here is the updated definition of land surveying as defined by the LAPELS board a few ...
