Don't forget Batoon was the DC at South Alabama. This probably made his final decision to follow his DC to Mizzou. ...
I would pick OU if it weren't for their entire OL transferring or exhausting eligibility. If they can protect the QB, it will be OU. If not:
LSU
OU

Is that Texas being last? That is nice! ...

OU has what should be a great D. If one looks back at BV in his first 3 Clemson years he improved their D to top 10 in year 3 and kept it there. He knows from having played SEC teams what he needed to do when he got here. Granted, LR left the defense bare of talent compared to what ...

Yet Florida thought Dan Mullen would be very good at Florida. He did get Florida to be a better football team but then ending up firing him when things went south. ...

He has better talents to begin with and Drinkwitz just started getting his team turning the corner. Then which team ended up ranked higher last year? That is what matters. Then this year Kelly is ranked 3rd best HC while his team is pre-ranked under 3 HCs teams. His team should be pre-ranked higher ...
Kelly failed on defense last season.
But didn't he make changes in the offseason?
That is what great coaches do.
They self evaluate.
And they adapt.
Give him another year to see if the defense improves.
Last year proved it Kelly failed big time on defense. That is on him. Does he deserve to be ranked number 3 at this time for his failure of knowing the defense would be so bad?
