Posted by John Casey on 5/12/24 at 11:04 am
Had a pretty large dead pine tree (close to house and requiring crane) taken down in the Mandeville area back in February and the cost was $2,400. Got 3 quotes ranging from $2,200 to $2,400. Went with the $2,400 since I had used guy in past and trusted him. Cost included tree removal, hauling ...
Why couldn't we have had this event in NOLA?
Probably because the last UFC event in New Orleans (with Poirier and Lewis) in June 2015 wasn't that well attended (6,231 at Smoothie King Center). Granted, that was a lifetime ago, and would probably do much better in current times....
The video link was more an advertisement for the homeless shelter than a story on a woman living in a sign. How do you run a story like that without a single photo of the living space?...
I'm am just wondering what his audience consists of. Dems or Repubs? They seem to agree with him which is weird thinking that audience may be Democrats
While Maher has always been a liberal, he has never really let his personal beliefs allow his show (Real Time) to become a liberal...
Why can't we just get the ability to watch multiple games that are simultaneously occurring across multiple networks without having to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket? These one off games on random streaming platforms is maddening....
Depends on how strict the definition of "run" is. If you could walk some of those miles, you could eat donuts and drink beer at the same time....
No clue why women continue to do that to themselves...
Because she likes the city
Think I remember reading that they chose New Orleans for wedding because when they were dating, they would meet up in New Orleans because it was in the middle from where they were both living at the time....
Serious question. Is this really what most of you do on the weekends?
Those weekends are few and far between now that we have kids and they always having some sport or party or something. My grandparents passed away when I was really young, so it's always been important for me t...
Sounds like you messed up by not going to the graduation party. I generally don't fight going to any family event because I like being able to go to by own family events, too. You only have so much time left with parents or grandparents and time with them is better spent than time just doing noth...
It's too bad nobody worth a shite play the PMAC anymore hopefully once they finally build the new one they can get some decent acts
Seems like the dropoff in talent at PMAC also coincides with the opening of the New Orleans Arena (Smoothie King Center) in 1999. The PMAC filled t...
You serious?
In the original, other than Dalton being an actual bouncer being brought in to be a bouncer to clean up a bar, what else makes sense?...
The movie made zero sense.
Neither did the original, lol. The CGI fight scenes were so bad in the new one, but movie was fine enough for some mindless entertainment on a late Saturday night. I wasn't expecting much out of it....

Wasn't he also not clutch on Tuesday when he missed the game clinching free throw?...
Candace wanted out. She was clearly trying to get herself fired. After she was let go the first thing she said was “I’m finally free.” (likening herself to a slave lol).
This was how I viewed the whole situation and now she's just trying to further build her brand by playing victim...
