Not sure how someone watches a game where each team scores 2 runs from non-homeruns but one of the teams adds 4 additional runs from homeruns to win 6-2 and comes away thinking that using homeruns to win baseball games is a poor strategy....
I missed the play, was there a runner on second when this happened? If not then it probably didn't change much
There was. Went from runners on first and third and pitch count approaching 50 to inning over....
UNC only won because of the HR...
Travinski single handedly killed this team. All year.
Yeah you’re going to lose a lot of games when your DH gets more than one out per at-bat...
Not that it really matters but Jay said top 15, not top 5
Yeah, also I’m not sure that a thread about LSU working Georgia 9-1 is the best place to call Jay dumb for claiming that LSU was an ok baseball team....
It probably would’ve been a negative in the past, but in the NIL era and with the team now having such a national footprint it’s probably a wash....
If Lacy would have caught a couple of those passes in the FSU game and House's defense didn't shite the bed against Ole Piss......
Isn’t that saying the same thing as OP? If Coleman was hear that pass wouldn’t have been to Lacy, and if Cypress was playing corner we might have forced ...
He's probably going to go the NWAC so he can enter the draft after one season. And before people start saying pay him, due to his student visa as a foreigner, he can't legally receive NIL money
While we can't pay him, NIL available to other players means we can probably of...
Mike Jones was a good kid but he was one of the worst graded linebackers in the entire SEC last year. I have no clue how he started over Baskerville.
Baskerville was not expected to be eligible for the first four games and was unexpectedly cleared right before Florida State. Fal...
Lol you have LSU fans saying the same thing
Yea but LSU fans have witnessed recent big wins by their team over ranked teams. An LSU fan predicting at a double-digit win is probably thinking something like, "This game might go the same way as the other 8 times we've beaten rank...
That’s where we disagree. No one is paying out significant money in NIL that is available only by going the college route. Dunne isn’t getting paid what she is because she went to college. She had an already established brand that she has continued to expand coincident with being in college n...
idk Bingham is a grad transfer and wasn’t drafted.
What are the roster limit rules for 2023? Is it still 35 players of any classification plus 5 who played during the Covid year? I’ve seen mention of 40 but it is truly 40 of any type or is it still 35 + 5? ...
Because no one really knows what anyone is spending these lists are effectively meaningless. From the article these were there criteria: “Recruiting expenses cover transportation, lodging and meals for recruits, additional personnel for official and unofficial visits, phone charg...
NIL is going to help get some kids to campus out high school. It’s not going to keep guys around for a fourth year or even some draft eligible sophomores around for a third year. The industry standard is 21 years of age is when you start your pro career. NIL is not going to change that. [/qu...
I just have a hard time believing Rutgers and Georgia Tech spend more in recruiting than LSU. I feel like there has to be more context to these numbers.
I think part of it has to do with proximity of recruiting base to campus and part of it is related to meaningless internal acco...
What’s the work-around?
Get close enough to Rocco’s to use their Wi-Fi to do whatever you need to do....
Teams that go undefeated get rewarded. That’s how it should be
Like how South Carolina was rewarded for sweeping its regional while the team it was matched up against in the Supers had limited arms available as a consequence of having to fight through the loser’s bracket? (This...
What difference does it make if we lose tonight or win tonight but go 0-2 against Florida? Saving Skenes for Saturday is your best chance to bring a trophy home.
Right. Skenes has at most around 120 pitches left to throw in an LSU uniform, one way or another. Its not unreasonab...
i can promise you, on nearly 4 days rest, skenes will be the man in game 3. You would have to shoot him dead to stop it.
Game 3 isn't "nearly" 4 days rest from tonight, except in the sense that 3 of anything is nearly 4 of that thing....

re: Skenes Pitch Count
If this pitch count article is accurate, which I don't believe it is, how did Cooper pitch 2 days in a row after throwing over 25 pitches on Tuesday against Tennessee?
Again, it is an AI generated article that pulled at least a part of those numbers from the Texas highschool rule...
