Mud snake frenzy
Posted by TigrrrDad on 5/22/24 at 11:10 am
Been catching a few Western mud snakes lately…we got 17 in the past 5 nights. Best night was Monday - me & my buddy got 6 in 29 minutes. Love is in the air this month so they’re on the move. 4 Friday, (skipped Saturday), 4 Sunday, 6 Monday, 3 Tuesday.

Western rats tend to get that orangey-brown color as adults like the bottom photo, whereas the juvies are usually colored like your top photo. Gray rats tend to retain closer to that juvie color. Generally gray rats are east of the river a...

Broke it in 2003 riding motocross in morning practice before my race. The finish line jump was a 60 foot step-up. Unfortunately, I jumped 59 feet. Much downhill cartwheeling ensued....
