Pulling Hurd

What’s the call there? Kids confidence seems to have been in the tank; would you have let him cook or was pulling him the right decision? ...

re: What's with Travinski?

He’s had some bad luck on 3-2 counts today. He sat on two 3-2 counts and got nailed on very low third strikes. After the first one he should have caught on. Tough but frustrating. ...
Requires a pitching wedge. frickin absurd. ...

Bowl game QB: splits or no?

Posted by doctatigah on 12/22/22 at 5:07 pm
Assuming that JD5 is 100% to go for the game: What do we think the bowl game will look like? JD5 with all the snaps or some sort of shared gameplan?...
Burrow got shut out by Bama in 2018
If that’s your comparison, then you don’t “get” it. I’m not saying it’s fair, tough guy, I’m saying that Burrow enjoyed a benefit of the doubt that JD did not. ...
A completely different player with a completely different set of conditions. That GA second half emphasized some tough “shortcomings,” which never happened to Burrow. ...
There’s grasping at straws and then there’s whatever the hell you thread is - stupid. ...

I really hate QB drama

Posted by doctatigah on 12/4/22 at 12:32 pm
Grateful that LSU had a better than expected year and glad that JD5 provided the spark to defeat Bama. That said, man, I really hate QB drama of this nature. There’s embarrassment of riches QB battles and then there’s whatever this is shaping up to be. It’s just messy and irritating - one of tho...
But his OC is doing him absolutely no favors. We have 12 games of data now. The current offensive approach does not fit Daniels.
I agree that you can’t divorce the offensive scheme from the outcomes. That said, JD5 has missed a lot of reads on (sometimes very) open receivers. T...
