When I became a homeowner I grew very attracted to men who can fix things. Wound up marrying one of those....
Flirting With Disaster—favorite comedy and Jaws. Back in the day of regular TV, anytime I’d see jaws was on TBS I’d flip to it, intending to just see what part it was on, and then finish the movie....
Movie is not bad. I’ll nerdily recommend reading the book which is good, darkly funny....

Vic’s wife wasn’t helped by major Resting Mourner Face BUT in her defense, she was married to Vic who was a terrible husband. She was also stuck with two autistic kids and a sullen tween (played by Chiklis’s real life daughter). I HATED Shane when I first watched it but now love Walton Goggins s...
I “ridiculed” it. As a woman the scene at the beginning of little girls shattering their dolls heads then turning to worship a girl boss made me shudder....
IIRC men and women have essentially the same average IQ but women's is more clustered around the mean, while men have more outliers at both ends of the distribution curve. More geniuses = more chess grandmasters.
I remember a Camille Paglia quote that said something like, “there wi...
All true. But the combination of Hank, Larry, and Arthur was just amazing. Imminently quotable....
Poupart’s has traditional king cakes, much less sweet, I like them....
Once someone posted a picture of a snake asking to ID it and maybe if he should kill it. Someone responded, “don’t ask the guys on the Outdoor Board, they wouldn’t kill a cottonmouth they found in their kid’s crib.”...

My uncle, a lawyer with a lot of trial experience, has always said it’s the most accurate portrayal of a trial—I guess from start to finish—in a movie. By comparison, I remember him saying A Few Good Men was laughable....

I can’t tell if I stopped liking Paige because she started dating Craig or I was already moving in that direction and that just hastened it. Do not get the appeal of Craig and now she just seems shallow and mean. She was always shallow, but had some endearing aspects....
I feel like you might remember Nany and Johnny Reilly having sex more than Nany and Cohutta kinda dating. It was a pretty memorable moment. It was caught on camera. Think this all happened on Free Agents.
Yes. Cohutta went to bed, she hooks up, feels terrible briefly—i.e. hungover ...
I love how everyone is telling Nany she “killed it” at elimination, when she didn’t beat Moriah to the button and only won because she misspelled something
Yeah. I rolled my eyes at “the old Nany is back, you have your fire again.” Again? Ok. And, I’d arguably be more entertained ...
Their relationship may be real, may not be, don’t even care. I find in insufferable that it’s treated so sacrosanct. “Don’t put my girlfriend in.” “We can’t live with ourselves is we put them against each other.” I just don’t know when or why Nany’s been canonized. I’ve been trying to remember her i...
think I'm the only person that doesn't give a shite about Nany and her doing well or winning the challenge. I'm glad she's doing okay after losing her mom I guess, but I've never liked her too much and don't care about this "Nany magical season" angle they are going for.
I’ve started ...
Jordan has interesting style choices and I appreciate that he’ll put odd looks out there. That said, I’m not a fan of that floral headscarf? shawl? he’s worn a few times. When he wore it a while back with a cowboy hat he looked like a bag lady....
