You are generalizing by that last statement that this is the only area i push him to work hard in.
The foundation of both my kids entire life is to work hard. If something is easy, then they aren't being challenged en...

Best place to stop and eat on the way to OBA
Posted by SouthboundTiger on 5/22/24 at 8:21 am
Looking for something different to stop at to eat on the way to OBA. Family of 4 with kids under 7.
Have done, Felix's, Ralph and Kacoo's, Bucee's, and Cracker Barrel in the past.
Any suggestions?...
re: Feral pigeons for dog training-Baton Rouge
Posted by SouthboundTiger on 5/6/24 at 12:31 pm
As others have said....DO NOT tell them about the dogs. I ran into some quail people in the past that pretty much strictly sold for dog training, but that was years ago so I doubt they are still doing it.
Definite biggest PIA of bird dog training and it seems most of the serious guys raise their ...

It's not grammar mistakes that drive me crazy, it's the fact that the majority of people in SWLA can't call a place by it's name....
I bet you're one of those people who thinks McNeese could've beat LSU the year they held Leonard Fournette to under 100 yards....because the game got rained out. Go...
Lunas
Why do all SWLA folk insist on adding a S to places that don't have it in their name? The place is called LUNA, look it up. And the grocery store is called KROGER not krogers. This drives me insane because it makes you sound uneducated.
Anyway as another mentioned before i...
Hunting isn't supposed to be easy.
Hunting still isn't easy just because you are able to ride to and from a spot quicker. I can't tell you how many times I've set up in a spot (deep or close) with the perfect wind, sign everywhere, food all around, bedding nearby, and nothing happe...
re: Edikani electric bikes for hunting
Posted by SouthboundTiger on 4/4/24 at 8:07 am
Why does everyone always get so mad at the E bikes on public? I get the fact that it enables people to go deeper into the woods with less work and you may have put in the work to get back there previously and succeeded. But if you don't think deer hunting public isn't about pressure, then you don't ...

Recommendations for Restaurants in Long Beach

Will be in Long Beach for work a week out of every month for the foreseeable future. Looking for spots to enjoy dinner and drink.
So far have tried:
La Parolaccia
Parker's Lighthouse
Bo-Beau
All were very good. Parker's Lighthouse took the cake this trip because of the view when sitting on...
re: Poorest Region in the Deep South – Mississippi Delta

Only been hunting in the Delta, but it was awesome. Huge deer and when they got ducks, they got freaking ducks man!
Gotta be careful of those two legged deer walking around Cleveland, they could get you in trouble....

Lol have you ever been to a tournament? Only first and second get rings. That's how it should be.
When I was a kid we got a participation trophy at the end of the year during rec ball....and that was STUPID...

This thread is hilarious with the amount of people that don't know anything about the subject. It got the responses that I expected from people with no experience.
This has been my first year with "travel" ball as my son is playing 7U. 95% of you are wrong about everything. The only one that seem...

Why does travel ball always get so much hate on this site? Almost every sport has a version of it now....and it really all started with soccer. Flag football, soccer, AAU basketball, golf, baseball (of course) all do it.
FWIW I get it. It's not necessary to fly around the country playing the best...

How long are you folks playing a driver before you feel the need to upgrade? I'm playing a SIM2 Max and it's still hitting tanks. Before that played an SLDR for probably a decade.
Just wondering how often yall think the technology really improves enough to make a significant difference....

I don't see the point in the bibs. I did however order some wader pants last year and they are game changers for both duck and deer hunts....
