I think you take a huge risk next season if you roll with Kling and Neal again. I hate to call out names but I’m not sure Jay can trust these two to take the next step. They showed no signs of improvement this year and I’m not exaggerating literally none. ...

Conference only stats don’t really back that up.
Milazzo: .267 45 at bats 5 RBI’s
Neal: .143 42 at bats 6 RBI’s
So Neal should be starting in front of a healthy Milazzo with those stats. I get if Milazzo is hurt but that’s why I was asking....

Neal’s numbers are deceiving. While his overall stats are better go compare conference only stats to Milazzo’s. Milazzo is the better hitter and is a veteran. Anyone saying Neal is a better hitter than Milazzo didn’t watch the entire season. ...

This is one thing that pissed me off during the regular season. Every now and then Jay would try Neal out and it seems like we’d always start losing. Not saying if we start Milazzo today we win but it just felt like a game he would normally play in. ...
