Not exactly. South Carolina is a top 10 baseball program. Kansas is a bottom 10 football program. Plus Mainieri was a much better coach overall at LSU than Miles....

I don't think Oregon State baseball will be any worse off as an independent than in the Pac 12. It will kill football and basketball for those 2 schools. Baseball is different. The Big West has always had nationally relevant teams. Oregon State will be in no worse a spot than them....

Losing Johnson isn't good but I don't think he was even going to be a big contributor next year. He really was not impressive this year. I think the Oklahoma State coach is more reasonable. Gonna be in a lower tier league after this season. Gonna always be second fiddle to Oklahoma in state. Has outperformed LSU since he got there. Surely LSU could lure a coach from OSU....

VERY preppy bunch. I was honestly surprised. I would have expected it out of Duke or Wale Forest. Would have thought UNC would have been a little more blue collar being public. Doesn't seem like an SEC fit at all to me. I wonder if N.C. State would be better....

Thanks. That's very encouraging to have Milam, Brown, and Larson for 2 more seasons. They all seem like pieces you could win a championship around. Hopefully Anderson earns his rotation spot and kills it and is a 1st round pick. I'm glad Johnson has 2 more years. I don't see him being rotation ready...

What do you mean? My reaction was nice move to bring in Nippolt to bunt. Larson probably wouldn't have got the walk or got the bunt down. Great at bat by a veteran....

With all due respect, Skip is only marginally coherent at this point. Have you heard him on interviews and podcasts? He's a legend and is respected as such but his current decision making isn't assisting Jay....

There are only 13 pitchers on the 27 man roster. Let's count out Jump, Holman, Herring, and Hurd. That leaves 9. Coleman and Ack are definites. Dutton, Moffett, Hellmers, Ulloa, and Loer could all definitely go if you want them. Guidry and Anderson seem less likely.

The Wofford game today will be tougher than the Wofford game on Friday and that one went down to the wire. We have a lot going against us-- emotion, pitching, quick turnaround... these losers bracket games are tough for the team that lost the night before. Hope LSU can pull it out but it's far from ...

Braswell, Milam, White, Jones 1-4 should be a given. You can start whoever you want 5-9 and order them however you like. It's the same production potential any way.
Vs RHP I'm going Neal, Travinski, Larson, Brown, Pearson. Vs. LHP I'm going Travinski, Frey, Bingham, Kling, Milazzo....

They have 1 stud hitter and 0 stud pitchers and a bunch of other solid players. They won't win it all. They aren't close to LSU last year. They aren't close to Tennessee this year. Tennessee ain't close to LSU last year....
