Not that it would make a huge difference, but I think we could be a little more strategic in the first few series of the year outside of that tournament weekend. I didn’t get to see all of his outings, but I was surprised that he was cruising in the low 90’s instead of consistently throwing 95+ coming in as a reliever. I’m not sure if it’s because he’s throwing something other than a 4 seam, he’s not throwing as hard as he could or if his arm isn’t capable o...

Ware is the guy I want. Right under 7’ with a huge reach, somewhat capable of spacing the floor, shot blocker.
Filipowski, Missi, Holmes or Carter would be great gets too imo....

I think like project says, development isn’t always linear. That’s a bunch of talented guys that are not proven at all in starting weekend games. I definitely think you can say that starting pitching is a hole, considering there is a lot of hoping that guys will come back from injury and/or be developed in to what we expect them to be.
It will be interesting to see how he plays the portal with fielders, too. If you move on from Braswell, ...

I think the point is that Trae Young gives you a different, but equally bad situation that BI gives you. He’s a stat hog that doesn’t play winning basket...

Yep. Based off the rule, it was clearly interference, but the fielders screwed up so much stuff leading up to it, it’s hard to blame anyone else....

Wasn’t tournament performance a significant factor in us hosting regionals when we were struggling at the end of the CPM era? I feel like we constantly heard from the national media about how we were playing our best ball and becoming a threat....

So does winning games in Hoover have no effect on your tournament resume? With the way people talk about having to win the tournament or bust, you would think so. I’d imagine that a bubble team making it to the finals or semi finals would be pretty significant ...

A couple years ago, there was an owner running for office as a republican and the players wore shirts promoting her democratic opponent. They literally care more about culture wars than the sport ...

Sarr, Clingan, Sheppard, Dillingham all fit easily with Sarr being the riskiest player of that group. Topic could be a fit too if his FT shooting is an indication of his 30% 3pt FG being fixable ...

Pearson has the lowest OBP of any regular player. He might actually be the worst decision we can make at leadoff. It also made no sense in hitting him in the middle of the lineup, considering his batting average with RISP is less than .180. I’m just not sure where the confidence in him comes from....
