Does Omaha get a vote? If so, LSU is IN!...

100% agree...

Hard to believe that there are only 100 college/hs players considered better than Hurd....
Does Omaha get a vote? LSU would be the #1 bubble team if so!...

Quite obvious...
We might as well get used to it....biggest bag wins, unless a state school or a woman is involved. Then it is only 75% bag money....

Probalby has been the biggest disappointment of a large group of contenders. ...
Sadly, I think you are correct, and that pretty much is true in all our major sports....
I don't guess our coach even thought about bunting our no hitting catcher to move the runner into scoring position, to possibly tie the game . Just let him pop up again on a first pitch swing. We just play stupid baseball these days. ...

LSU making the tournament is like our BB team making NCAA. It would be useless effort. Just hang it up and recruit like never before. NIL has to kick in big time for this team....

So you think a good, not great, defensive centerfielder batting .250 is adequate for LSU to win something? Sorry, I totally disagree. LSU needs hitting, good d outfielders....

re: Who is our hitting coach?

If we have talent we have the worst hitting and pitching coaches in America. I think it is more of a combination....
It appears that we have sunk to the level of NWst in Natchitouches. We were extremely lucky to beat them this past week, and they played LSU straight up. That's where we are. We will see if JJ has the wherewithal to elevate the program back to where a program with LSU's stature should always...

Bear, Larson and Milam, Herring, Jump, Achausen, Holman are the only team members that I care that they come back. Nothing lost with the departure of any others....

re: Pearson leading off !

Based on Milam's at bat in this game, and his recent plate performance, he is without a doubt the most logical leadoff man for LSU. Very surprising that a seasoned coach, in a critical game. would choose to put our worst OBP player as leadoff. It appears he is ready to call this a season....

another catcher passed ball gives up two runs

Posted by QB on 5/12/24 at 1:40 pm
2nd run was an on easy double play ball that would have ended the inning. Never seen catching like Neal ever. His glove seems to be really stiff...
I have no problem with that. I just want someone on base for our top RBI guys to drive in...noithing more. White/Bear come up to bat with no on far too much for my liking, and it is self imposed, especially with them hitting behind our worst hitters as the game goes on....
