Sparks is worth considering just because of the history.

I like Smith & Wollensky over Sparks. I have been told Gallaghers is great.

Friend,

We like Delmonico's, Keens, Gallaghers, and Christos, which is not far from La Guardia.

Yours,

Wife and I did Gallaghers over Labor Day weekend this year and it was absolutely incredible.

The original Del Friscos was in Gretna. Del Frisco was a butcher at Winn Dixie in Chalmette.

I know it’s a chain; but, this one remains the most memorable I’ve ever had.

Peter Luger was just ok for the money. Sparks is the spot we like.

Because I haven't seen them mentioned, I'll toss out St. Anselm and DeStefano's (their crab cakes are fantastic, too) in Williamsburg.

Lugers is cool in a “ feels like we’re gonna get whacked “ vibe but wasn’t that memorable food wise

I liked smith and wollensky, I got this Cajun crusted filet that I still randomly think about years later

Been thinking the same for years.

Also whoever recommended Del Friscos... it is a chain and it is darn good.

Gallaghers is my #1, Keens #2. 4 Charles Prime Rib and Minetta Tavern would be the other places I would steer you towards
