Have a group going to spend the weekend, looking for good spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner with drinks.
What are some good spots?

Dinner: DeLuca's, and there is no other answer.
Breakfast: The Pancake Shop

My work here is done.

Areas to stay away from?
We have been to visit the sites but never stayed in town.
We will be doing the downtown area Saturday afternoon.
Is around the lake the best place to stay?

I wasn't that impressed with Deluca's.

Weird. You're like the only person I've ever heard say that... (other than a 15 year old girl who ate there with our mountain bike team and said it was too greasy).

To each his own. I didn't mean to downvote you. I was trying to upvote.

I will say that I had a pretty bad experience trying to get our group seated last time we were there. But it was a very busy weekend, and we had a very large group. We were just given pretty poor time estimates on how long it would take to seat us which led to pretty serious frustration.

But yeah, I love their pizza. The Patsy Searcy... omg.

Deluca’s is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. You have to reserve dough, I’m being serious, as they sell out.
