Wife (no pics) and I are seeing a show at the Ryman Saturday night and we have dinner plans at Yolan on Friday night, but looking for suggestions for other things to do/places to eat while there.

Places to Eat (Expensive to Affordable):
-The Palm
-Bourbon Steak
-Josephine
-Etch
-The Standard
-Hampton Social
-Del Friscos
-The 404 Kitchen
-Acme Feed and Seed
-Martains BBQ
-Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

Sweets:
-Legendairy Milkshakes
-Five Daughters Bakery (Donuts)

Nightlife (Bar Scene Areas)
-Broadway (Nudies, Legends, Laylas)
-Midtown
-Printers Alley
-The Gulch (LA Jackson)
-Music City Bar and Grill (Highly Recommend for Honky Tonk vibe - Bands only play Country Music 90s and before)

Attractions:
-Country Music Hall of Fame (Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline Museums as well)
-Gaylord Opryland Resort (Food locations inside as well, nice place for a stroll)
-Opry Mills Shopping Mall (large mall with Madame Tussauds inside which is wax figures of famous artists)
-Grand Ole Opry (check for artists performing)

There is all sorts of stuff to do. Went to Nashville recently for a business trip and these are some of my recommendations. Hope this helps some

Josephine has closed. That’s a list for sure but that’s definitely the most touristy type spots around town. There are much better restaurants in Nashville.

Henrietta red
St Vito
Rolf and Daughters
Folk
Red headed Stranger
Butcher and Bee
Iggy’s
Kisser
SS Gai
Fat Belly Deli
Bills Sandwich Palace
Dozen Bakery
Bastion
Locust
Hathorne
Bare Bones Butcher
Noko
Tailor

I'll add A-Roi, Eddie V's and The House of Cards (fun date night) to the food recommendations. You've also got the Parthenon for touristy/attraction stuff.

Thanks, Hog!

Which of those you listed would be great to go to before heading to the Ryman?

Monell's is a fun place to eat if you have good people at your table (family style communal dining). Food is excellent.

Go grab a fried baloney sandwich from Robert’s. It’s right around the corner. Love that place.

Obviously lots of threads about what to do here.

Some great suggestions here. I'd add..

We loved Sixty Vines! Right next to Ryman.

Nearby Holston House for drinks or bites.

Going to see RRB?

I’ll be there March 2-5.

There’s some great info in this thread.

I was just at Bridgestone Arena last Friday for a concert. Traffic is a nightmare down there on Broadway and 4th Avenue. I used the Truist Plaza parking garage next to the Ryman. You can buy a pass on Parking.com app. Highly recommend it.

RE: Some of the above parking in proximity to the Ryman.

The Library Parking Garage is across the street from the Hyatt and 2 blocks away. Good prices.

We like to park at the Music City Center. Vast parking lot. Fairly reasonably priced. 3 blocks away.

Also, seeing a lot of great recommendations. But some are in Germantown or East Nashville. Fine if you have a car or Uber, just know where they are.

Haven't been yet, but looks really interesting! On our "to do list".

If it's the "Tapas Scene" you seek, look into:

Boqueria

We really like Barcelona as well.
