My brother just booked a house for his children and grandchildren in late June. Thinking about joining them and renting a condo for a few days.
What is the area like in June?
Ovecrowded? Terrible traffic moving from place to place?

All of this and expensive like I said. The best time to do that area is after Labor Day. Prices drop, crowds thin out, and the snow birders aren't there yet. You do not want to be there when they are in town. It is dangerous to be in on the road with them and all the condiments come off of tables because they steal them

The prices normally drop before then, just when most kids return to school. (Mid August).

OP, you'll overspend on your condo because it's the gulf coast and demand is stupid but you should be able to find something on the beach without much issue. Moving around mid day sucks so plan to eat in for dinner and do your grocery runs in the morning, then spend all day on the beach and in the pool.

Trying to find something currently for 4th of July Weekend that area to 30A.....anyone have a great spot?

We usually are at a condo that has so many ppl, looking for a place that is smaller so less crowded beach etc...

Not opposed to a house as well if possible but the other ppl we are going with bitch about not being on the beach..

The last few years we have made sure we are through the tunnel before 6:15 am but make the stop for breakfast sandwiches, beer, arrival day supplies, etc. We found a guy who rents us his Bayliner for 6 hours and we meet him at the dock on Cotton Bayou at 8 am and spend the morning and mid day on the boat (Robinson Island, Flora Bama, Pirates Cove, cruising the Old River.

We do opt for Ft Morgan though and other than playing golf we don't really go anywhere. We go to the beach to go to the beach, not go out to eat, etc.

Absolutely

Unless you plan on day drinking, since it would appear your beach time will be spent with them, you could rent something a little further away off of the beach and drive to their house to hangout.

This depends on how big of a condo you are in and what is located next to it. Some areas aren't bad. On the beach at a place like Phoenix West is a shitshow.

That’s a great idea. Thank you.

Expensive. Wife and I are going for five days to Cancun excellence Playa Maris. All you can eat/drink, including plane tickets. It's the same price as five days condo to the 14u baseball World Series in June in Orange Beach. And that's not including food at OB. Crazy. It's going to be fun I guess but I'm glad this is our last year.
