Coming from coastal Georgia, assuming a layover in Atlanta, what is the best/easiest/closest city to fly into to get to Oxford?

Memphis isn't a bad drive, only about an hour- I'd certainly fly in there over Jackson

If you’re talking about for a football game you better already have your accommodations.

Yeah Memphis is the answer

It’s about an hour and a half drive that’s super easy.

Once you get out of desoto county traffic really thins out

Hotels shouldn’t be an issue either since you aren’t coming for a football game

And that’s for the best as it gets too crowded to enjoy the town during football weekends .

It’s going to be a huge pain in the arse to go to a college where you have to fly in and then it’s a long drive to campus. Basically what ruled out Auburn for me.

If its down for maintenance that weekend, fly into Memphis.

Its only ~45 minutes south from there.
