Someone gave me last-generation Orbis for a mesh network. Plaster walls with wire mesh make wifi tough here. I currently have Linksys extenders in the far halls and my garage for security cameras, etc. Will Orbis work with my existing extenders? Because aint no way the 3 Orbis gonna cover it all.

I had an Orbi mesh system in Florida with concrete block walls and it worked great. Now it's in Virginia covering 4500 sq ft without a hiccup.

That's a bit of a douchbag statement considering you haven't even given the system a try. It's all about proper placement.

I have the Orbi 6 with 2 satellites. My home is 6800sf with 5500sf finished on 3 levels. I have coverage everyone, and it extends about 50 feet out into my yard in about all directions. My satellites are located in closets on either end of the house and my router is in the basement near the middle.

We have an older Orbi setup with 2 satellites and I covers 3800 sq ft home plus back yard/ pool, and front yard. Never a problem. We’ve been pleased with the coverage and stability
