If he’s offside, and throws a block to the player that would have been in that spot to fight for the ball, then that shouldn’t count.

My fricking espn stream went out while we were celebrating the goal then I come back to see the ref looking at the replay

I think everyone is aware that should have been a card, already said it was baffling it wasn’t. But the two are mutually exclusive calls. Caceido should have been booked, and the goal shouldn’t have counted. If you’re that upset over the correct call then you’re too spoiled with VAR calls

I don’t think that’s true. I don’t see an offside player purposely blocking the goal scorers defender that often. He knew what he was doing and that was a designed play. Get on with it

I’ve said previously that I think that doesn’t get called enough. If someone is in an offside position, doesn’t come close to the ball, but it holds the keeper for a split second, it should be offside, because that person impacts the play.
